Design assistant
In search of a part-time Design Assistant to assist with all aspects of residential design projects and business administration. The position is partly in-person (working from an at-home studio in El Dorado Hills) and partly remote. Can eventually grow into a full-time position.

Requirements
o Completed or working towards either a 2 or 4-year Interior Design degree
o Ability to draft 2D floor plans and elevations in AutoCAD
o Knowledge of materials and furnishings
o Ability to work independently on tasks
o Excellent time management and communication skills
o Must be organized with careful attention to detail
o Valid driver’s license and access to car (will be reimbursed for mileage at standard IRS rate)
o 3D rendering (either by hand or digital) a plus
potential duties include
o Drafting floor plans and elevations
o Sourcing materials and furniture, creating digital presentation boards
o Attend client and trade meetings as needed
o Pricing and creating proposals in Studio Designer
o Order follow up and delivery tracking
o Communication with vendors and trades
o Photoshoot assistance and accessorizing
o Setting up trade accounts and organizing materials/catalogs/price-lists
o Ordering, picking up & returning tile and fabric samples
o Ordering and restocking office supplies
